Modeling The Hats
Papa, Frankie and I went to Target last Friday to get Ryan a father's day gift. After getting him a calendar with a picture of both of them together, we decided to walk around and also get Papa a pair of shorts. He got a gift card for having a new prescription at Target and he wanted it to use it. So while Papa was in the Men's department, Frankie and I were so busy playing with the hats. It so happened that I had the camera with me since I needed a picture of Ryan and Frankie together so I was able to get take some pictures. The first hat I placed on his head he didn't want to take it off. He was having a good time with it. When I grabbed the first one, he pointed for the next one and placed it on his head. We were being silly and was giggling while switching the hats. Just look at Frankie below.
Treatments That May Save Your Life
When I realized how harmful Mesothelioma is, I am stunned. I felt sorry for those who have to experience it and their family. Mesothelioma is a form of cancer as a result of being exposed to asbestos. That is why Ryan and I have always been careful with the renovation of our house because we believed our tiles have asbestos in them. Our house was built in the 1940’s and that is around that time that the use of asbestos for homes was present.
How do you treat Mesothelioma? It used to be the question that has been going around for quite sometime but thankfully with the advancement of science Mesothelioma treatment has shown improvement for the past few years. Although there is no cure discovered yet for Mesothelioma but there are options that one can choose such as surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy and a lot more. If you know someone who had been suffering from Mesothelioma, you might as well tell them to check out Mesotheliomahelp.net and see the options that fit them.

Telephone Line Drama - Thank God For Papa
Thursday afternoon Papa was doing his nightly routine. He was watching TV Patrol and other Filipino shows in the kitchen and went to bed right after. Early morning I got up around 9:00 a.m. because Ryan promised me that he will email me something important to what I am supposed to be doing that day. I was still able to access the internet, we still have the dial tone. I then ate breakfast, took a shower and I remember that I need to call my academic advisor to ask him about something when I picked up the phone, there was no dial tone. I thought it was weird and immediately assume that it was AT&T's fault. I didn't bother to trace what was the problem as I had so much projects that are waiting for me. I told Papa that he might not be able to access the wireless internet through my laptop because the phone line is down.
When I got home, I though the problem has been fixed. He told me that the phone in the kitchen has a dial tone but not the one in the second bedroom. Since we all need to go to Target to get something, I figure to wait for Ryan till he gets home so that he can figure it out. We were out for almost 4 hours going to different places and when we got home Ryan didn't know what happened and he transferred the DSL thingy in the kitchen and hocked it in my laptop. He had so much to report that night and he didn't have the time to check where the problem was. Like I did, he tried to unplug and plug everything back because we thought it was just some lose ends but it wasn't. While reporting in the kitchen, Papa was so busy trying to figure out what happened. He took the phone that we have in the kitchen because it doesn't have to be plugged and he went outside the house to check the phone lines. Then he found the problem (mind you it was around 8:30 p.m. and so many mosquitoes outside). The phone line that was going to the bedroom is not working while the phone line that was going to the living room does work. So to give us a temporarily relief he connected the phone line that was not working to the one that is working. Unfortunately, we will not have a phone line in the living room just yet because he rerouted it but he can always put it back when we are ready to put a phone there soon. It was a big relief for me because I had so much to write and Ryan was all over my computer. Papa told me that he used to find the problem and fix the phone lines when he was in the Philippines both in his work and at home so there is no way he will not be able to find the problem here in our house. I am so glad for his help or else we will have to get help somewhere and may have to spend so much because Ryan and I can't find the problem. Thank God for Papa!

Acnecuresrevealed.net Is Your Acne Solution
I have been battling with acne for as long as I can remember. It wasn’t that bad really because my siblings are also experiencing the same thing except our youngest one Ging-ging but there were times when it surely deterred my confidence. It even came to a point where I don’t want to be in front of people anymore because I was afraid that they are not looking and listening to what I have to say but to my face and my acne. I really thought it will get better when I started teaching but the more it got worst because of stress and not getting enough sleep. I don’t even know how many acne treatments I have already used or taken until I completely got tired of it and didn’t care anymore. Had I known about the top 5 best acne treatment from Acnecuresrevealed.net, I could have gotten the one that work based from the different criteria they had.
A Sad Moment
Ryan emailed me yesterday and asked me if I wanted to go to Renee's visitation in Kankakee. Ryan and I used to work with her when we still worked at Target. She was alright but she means business. She is one tough woman and she like things to get done. Not a lot of people like her but if you try to think of it, she is just doing her job. There were a lot of people when we got there. We couldn't even find a parking spot that we have to park at a nearby bank. I saw a lot of Target peps there. Some that still works there and some like us who left target and came to visit when they heard about what happened to Renee.
It was definitely nice to see everybody although not in a right place. Ryan and I went to see her and to offer our condolence to her husband. I just couldn't believe how everything happened so fast. They thought it was a food allergy but it wasn't. She was throwing up the day before and the next day she died. As what her mother said, she got a virus that went straight to her heart. They didn't even know where she got it from which Ryan and I find so sad. She has two little girls 5 and 2 years old that she left behind. Definitely a sad moment.
On a lighter note, the Target peps are now organizing a get together party after seeing each other at the visitation. I can't wait to see them again.

Missing Them
One thing I notice every time I show the pictures of Dan-dan and Gadi is how big the giggle of Papa is. It is actually very cute to look at. I know he felt the same way when he was away from Frankie and I know how much he has missed them. Whenever they talk over skype, I can tell his longing for them. Frankie and Dan-dan talks over the internet all the time and he sometimes sits there and listens to them, amazed. I don't blame him though because even if I have been here for almost 7 years, half of my heart is still in the Philippines.
Wrinkle Free
I am getting old. Though I don’t feel it but I can see it on my face. I can now see fine lines that are on my forehead. It is not that bad yet but I may have to do something about it soon. It is so hard to get old gracefully these days. Life has brought us so many challenges, problems, definitely a roller coaster ride of ups and downs. Thankfully there are wrinkle creams to help straighten up those fine lines and help you look younger again. It is just a matter of trying to sort out which one works than the other. Pricesexposed.com helps you with the finding stage to help you save money by providing a link to the cheapest internet price. Get rid of those fine lines once and for all the easy and cheap way.

Six Flags Here We Come
I came home from work last Friday exhausted when I was greeted with a hug and a kiss. Ryan got home earlier than me and was sitting by the kitchen table reading the paper. After I was able to relax a little bit and cool off he turned to me smiling and asked me which day I would like to go to Six Flags. I looked at him puzzled since I don't remember anything that we discussed about it and besides Frankie is still too little to go on those rides. I told him I don't know and asked him if we are really going. He looked at me and waved a couple of passes to Six Flags and said that he won it at work. There are 4 dates that he let me pick up but I haven't decided yet. I have never been to Six Flags and not really that interested but if it is for free, hey why not? Papa and Frankie will pass on this but as soon as he is ready, we will surely take him there. I am actually excited. I will try to take a lot of pictures.

Diet Pills Review
I felt like I lost 10 pounds already with how hot it is outside. You see, every summer I always have a full time job so usually I leave early in the morning and is mostly out for 8 hours and when I get out from work it is not that hot anymore. There were also times when I am scheduled in the middle of the day and when I leave my car is not that hot yet. Now that I have been having different things to do in different places, I can’t believe how hot it is. When I go in to do my project even for just 30 minutes, my car can get so hot. I also sweat a lot while driving and it feels like I am shedding the pounds. Well, I wish it was that easy but sometimes if you really want to see some results, you need to read the review of the best diet pill so you don’t have to waste your time and money. So don't forget to visit Slimmingpillsreview.com today so you'll find the best diet pills there is.

Thankful For Tatay
I have seen him take care of Frankie and I can't help but admire the love he has for him. I always hear their contagious giggles when they try to bite each other. I hear them sing karaoke together early in the morning and some other grandpa and grandson time. If there is one thing that we did right, that is asking him to come live with us. We heard so much stuff from people against our decision about him coming over but I am glad Ryan didn't listen and now he is very happy.
I came up to him one time and gave him a hug and a kiss. I told him that when he was in the Philippines, he doesn't have to worry about breakfast, lunch, dinner and what to eat. When he was in the Philippines he doesn't have to clean a baby or even us growing up because he was always out working but all of that he did here. Many people tell me how lucky I am to have Papa here. I told them beyond words can say. We are very lucky and so blessed.
To our Papa thank you for everything. We are so lucky to have you not only here but also in our lives. We love you! Happy Father's Day.

POS System For Your Business
I am ok with Math when I was in college. I pass although not in flying colors. I have always complained why we need to take Trigonometry, Calculus and some other difficult math subjects when all we need is basic Algebra. When we go purchase something from the store we don’t use any complicated Math but just simple addition and subtraction and occasionally multiplication and division. Thankfully too we now have the POS systems or registers so checking out is a lot easier and faster. If you are planning to open your own little store soon, you may want to consider getting a barcode scanner or a POS system from Posguys.com. It will surely help your store tremendously.
Sweet Janet
Janet is the sweetest person I have ever known. I work with her at Kohl's and since the beginning I have always like her for being so nice and so sweet. It is her and Angie that I like the most. Ryan and Papa also met Angie and her husband during our Christmas party and they are a nice couple. Anyways, last Tuesday, she told me that she has something for me but actually for Papa. You see, Papa always cook Filipino dishes for my co-workers and they all loved it. Sometimes Janet brings something to eat for our break and sometimes Sharon or Angie brings something to nibble and occasionally our boss Dan. We usually take our break together and feast over the food/goodies that we have. They really liked the barbecue that Papa made for them that is why Janet thought of giving him something in return.
As you remember only 3 of Papa's corn grew. He planted some twice but it never grew. I knew it was quiet early because he planted it around March but that was around the time when it was extremely warm outside. There were a lot more snow after than and Papa decided not to plant anymore. Three came out but he pulled it anyway because he thought those were weeds. So when I saw Janet she was so excited to hand me a bag. When I looked at it inside, it was seedlings of corn that she grew for Papa. Isn't she sweet? She said that it for everything he did for us. When I got home Papa was already sleeping but I left him a note on the kitchen table telling him that it was for him from Janet. When I woke up he already planted them on the side of the garage. Hopefully they will grow this time.

Frankie's New Night Light
When we were getting everything together for Frankie’s arrival, Ryan and I were trying to decide which theme to go for his room. When it was getting close, I decided to go for the jungle theme since I saw an entire set of it on clearance. Unfortunately, the set didn’t come with the night light so I had to made a special order on it over the internet that was a little pricey I thought. I wanted everything to match. I can’t believe how important a night light is especially when you are caring for a little baby. After 6 months of its continued usage the light cover was starting to fall until it eventually fell. The wire that was attached to it was getting bent and eventually left us with what you see below, just the light.
I was so disappointed because I was expecting for it to last a little longer than that for the price I paid. I wanted to get another one to replace the old one but thankfully I waited because I was given a chance to review the genuine Monkey Face Night Light from Night-lights.com. I have to say I am very pleased with the product itself. It is made of glass and very sturdy and just the right size. I also like how easy it was to plug it in because it has a Swivel plug-in base where you can easily rotate it according to the position of your socket. They have a beautiful selection of kids nightlights that will be perfect for any age. The bulb is long lasting which is very important.

Isn’t it cute? This will be a great gift and every kid would love to have one of these night lights from Night-lights.com.

We Could Have
I have always believed that if you want something and He didn't give it to you, it only means it is not for you and there is something better. This is what I thought when were not able to get the land that we have been drooling in Manhattan, IL. You see, a few weeks ago Ryan found a parcel in Manhattan over the internet (remax.com). It is out in the country and it is 10 acres. Around those time, they just dropped the price from $150,000.00 down to $90,000.00. Ryan and I figure that we can always sell and sub-divide it in the future when the economy is going to get better. Besides, Manhattan is a very nice place to raise a family and the schools are great which is so close to the property. It is also not that far from where Ryan is working and also to where I am working. Before we saw the property we made sure that we have enough money in the bank for the down payment, earnest money as well as the closing cost. We didn't want to go and fall in love with it and we didn't have enough to go through with it. So last Friday we went to check out the place and we liked it. There were a few houses built there but they are very far apart because they also have huge lands.

When we got home I immediately called Dave. He was the same guy who helped us with our house. It was such a coincidence too because our realtor just sent us a postcard because he moved from one company to the another. We wanted Dave to help us with the pre-qualification before we could contact our realtor to make an offer. Ryan and I were so excited because it would be something that we can put aside and know where our money is going. It can also be used as a farm and the farmer just needs to pay a little fee to the owner. Well, it wasn't really for us because when we checked it a few days ago it was already in contingent. Both of them actually. I don't blame them though because who would want to let that go for that price and for that size. I hope we will find something that will be good enough for us. As for now we are still looking and at the same time saving.

More Than Just A Claim
Have you ever asked yourself what is the best acne medication or the best diet pills out in the market today? If you know what is the best then would you still try other things? Of course no, right? Why would you waste your money and time for something that is not worth it when you know what is the best. That is one of the reasons why Sybervision.com is created. What I like about them is they review different products that we desperately want to know of which one really works. There are a lot of overwhelming claims about different products and if you are not careful you can fall for these claims and can possibly waste your time and money. Sybervision.com makes it easy for you by ranking the top most effective diet pills, weight loss products, acne solution and so much more. It also has comments from of people who have used it to help you decide which one to go for.
Papa's Apple Tree/Plant
As I said before, Papa and I went to Menards to look at some stuff. We went to check out the plants and the fruit trees that they have after getting a couple of grass seeds from the inside. They have a lot of beautiful roses there with different colors too. When we were checking out the fruit trees. Some of the cherry plants were already bearing fruit but Papa didn't like it as much. The one little tree that caught his attention was the apple tree. I can't remember the name of the apple exactly but it was already bearing its fruit. It is not big yet that is why Papa got so excited. He didn't ask me to buy it for him but of course knowing my Papa, I asked him if he wants it and he smiled and I bought it for him. As we were walking towards my car I jokingly told him that what if it is not going to grow since his corn only grew 3 that he planted at the back of the garage last March and he said well those were seeds and this is already growing. I told him that if he will kill it he will owe me and he giggled. Unfortunately, I brought my car not the van or Ryan's so it was a little hard to put it in the trunk. Well it stayed right next to Papa in the front seat, good thing it wasn't that big. I was laughing how he even put the seat belt around it.
When we got home Ryan asked me what took so long. I told him that we took home something again. I also told him that he shouldn't let us be out together because we always think of the strangest things to take him. Papa and I are not quite sure how big the fruit will be. Papa jokingly said that it might be as big as a small tomato. All we know is the picture of it looks big and red, so we may have to see how it is going to be. He already planted them and Frankie kept going near it saying "hi".

Good job anak! Pictures taken by Frankie.
Trying to help.
Planted. I just hope that the friendly bunnies and squirrels will not feast over it. The squirrels already dug the pot that papa placed outside where he planted the flower seeds that Ryan got. So hopefully they will leave it this time but if not then tough luck. At least Papa get to try to plant an apple tree.

Lost No More
Since I started with this other part time job that I have, my driving skills and sense of direction have been tested. Before, I only drive to work, school, to church then home and occasionally at a friend’s house; nothing more exciting than that. But now I find myself doing projects from 25-30 miles away from our house. Although I see it as an adventure and definitely worth my time and the drive, I sometimes have a problem finding locations of my projects especially when it is new to me. There were times when Ryan had to show me where the exact location is so that I know where to go the next day. Even that is not advisable especially with the gas price going up.
Luckily, Ryan makes sure that I always bring a printed map that he pulled off the internet to help me as a guide. It is confusing sometimes especially when it is my first time in the area but thankfully I have never been lost. I told my husband that since I will be doing this for a while, we can probably get one of those gps systems to help me find my way. What I like about using a GPS system is it tells you step by step direction on where to turn and where to go. It is like having someone dependable right next to you. What is even awesome is you can get them online too and www.thesource.ca just have that too. They also have other electronics you might need. You will never be lost again with a gps system.

Monday
I am so blank right now. I have been trying to write for the past hour but all I have been doing is eat strawberries in front of the computer. Yes I have already consumes two boxes. I am not planning to eat dinner anymore. It was a long day indeed but I accomplished a lot. I promised Papa to take him to Menards and after work I called him and told him that I will be picking him up. He is so busy moving the stones from the side of the house to the back of the house so that Dad can pick them up. He wants them all cleared because he is getting ready to plant some of the little flowers that I got him last week. I don't know if they will grow bigger but they look so cute. Earlier Papa and I took 2 hours just roaming around Menards. I have to tell you, I have never been there for that long and that often until Papa got here. I got him another bag of seeds and I bought him an apple tree in a pot that is already bearing fruit. He is very happy and excited. I have to post some pictures soon.

Caring For The Elders
The last time I talked to my Uncle I knew there was something wrong. I called him to greet him a happy birthday but he seems to be very pre-occupied and worried. He was actually waiting for a phone call from the hospital when I called regarding his 98 years old mom. She was getting sick and unfortunately at the night of his birthday, she passed away. Things like this just breaks my heart. I know she is really old and lived a good life but I still feel the pain of losing someone.
Every once in a while Ryan and I talk about caring for Papa and Mama. It is inevitable and it will come in time. I have always been raised to care for my elderly and not leave them in a nursing home. Then again it was in the Philippines when you get a lot of support help around you. If you are working and also have your own family to take care then it will be hard. When you put them in a home, you also need to consider the expenses because it is not cheap. So we will cross the bridge when we get there. All I know is I want to take care of them when time comes just like how they both took care of us when we were growing. Besides we will never be who we are right now without both of them. Caring for an elderly at home has gotten a lot easier than it used to. They have now incontinence products that you can get over the internet and have it delivered at your home. They also now have seat lifts, mobility seats, walkers and other things that will help you move your elderly with ease. Sometimes it scares me to even think of it because I hate the fact that they are not getting any younger but it is also enlightening to know that there are things that you can get at Disposablemedicalexpress.com to make your life with them a lot easier.

Fits Perfectly
I was writing for this one company before that sells cheap clothes for $17.00 something dollars. I did buy a couple of pants but didn't really like their fit on me. That is what I get for buying it online, right? Well, they look really cute so I got one. The height was just perfect but the fit isn't. I don't even know where they are now. I must have placed it inside the balikbayan box. Anyways, I was looking at their dresses and there is this one dress that I really like for my sister Ging-ging. I figure with her height and width it will look nice on her. She didn't want me to buy it for her because she thinks that I have given her enough but I insisted especially that she is graduating soon she might need it for school. Anyways, the package finally got to them and a lot of kids were so happy to get their book bags just in time for the school opening. It has been a while since I sent it to her that I completely forgot about it. I was just so happy and surprised to see how beautiful she looked in it (love thy own, isn't it?). It fits her perfectly. It is the best $17.00 I could have spent. Just look at her below with the matching necklace we gave her for Christmas.

I just love giving stuff to my family because you can always tell how grateful they are. Papa and I have already started buying "pasalubong" or gifts for the family for our trip next year (God willing). I am sure they will all like it.

Clogs
When we first realized that they were going to change our casual type clothing for work to a dress code, we were not so happy. I really didn’t want to buy other set of clothes because with casual, I can just throw anything as long it isn’t a pair of jeans then I am good. We don’t have any choice but to abide with it. I am just glad that we can still wear clogs to work and I am getting ready to buy one for myself. I like the style of the Dansko clogs. It is simple yet very comfortable. I can also wear it with my other work and even if it is backless, it so easy to hide in a dressy pair of pants. You should get yours too. It will be a perfect footwear for the summer.
