Once A Month...

Frankie and I go on a lunch date. You see every month I send money to the Philippines. I withdraw the money at Target first and we go on window shopping. If I like something I will get it like earlier Frankie got his costume for Halloween if not we leave. Sometimes we stay and order from their food avenue and we eat there but most of the time we go to our favorite Chinese restaurant to eat. If I have some money left in my paypal then I usually pay for it and if not then Dada always comes to the rescue. We stay there for 30-45 minutes enjoying the food. I talk to him like he is a grown up and he sometimes look at me blank. I always look forward to our lunch date as always love it going anywhere with my boy.

Exercise At Work

I surely can't exercise at home. I do a lot of stuff but majority of it is sitting down especially when I am writing. That is why going to work gives me that exercise I needed and wanted. The store I am working with is not big which I consider good. I used to work at another retail store that was smaller and we all liked it but when they transferred into a bigger location, I heard they all hated it. Although the down side of having a smaller store is it seems like everything is so close to each other. It really doesn't bother me though. I even like it because I can easily get around the store. Ryan can't stand how small it is, he just needs to get over it hehehe. Besides we like shopping to Bradley.

Orland Square Mall

Frankie and I are so grateful that Ryan didn't have any commitment yesterday. They slept in until 10:00 a.m. Ryan got up and took Frankie out and cooked breakfast while I slept in until noon. When breakfast was ready Ryan woke me up to eat. My sleeping schedule has been really screwed up with working but I am not complaining. I am just glad that Ryan takes charge with Frankie when he is home. After lunch we head to our bedroom to clean up and get rid of the clothes that we want to send to the Philippines and put everything together in the box. Unfortunately, it seems like we may have to get another small one because the backpacks that I bought will not fit in there. Ryan decided to also send the complete bedding set for the queen size bed we have to the Philippines. We don't need it anymore and he said it is better that they can make use of it than throwing it out. That took so much space that the other set of pencil case and backpacks were still in the plastic bag. Good thing I remember that I still need to name the backpacks to where they should go. I may have to take some of them off because I don't think I will be able to close it. I don't like sending it like it is about to burst.

Frankie's old diaper bag for my sister in law and some ribbons for exchanging gifts.

After putting the stuff together, Ryan wanted to take us to the mall. So we went and had Frankie play in the play area. We got some yummy pretzels on our way out from the mall and stopped to get some Browns Chicken for dinner. Enjoyed a classic Filipino movie and sent my boys to sleep and I talked with my family back home. It was simple yet I had a wonderful time.

Apple Picking

I should have said yes. Grrr... now we are all so busy that we can't find time to meet up and go apple picking. Sheila works and I don't and when I work she doesn't. I only work on Saturdays but not on Sundays (love the schedule) but she works every weekend now. There was one Saturday that they both invited us to go. We were thinking of taking separate cars and I suggested taking our van and they said we can just split with gas. Sounds like a fair agreement to me but that Saturday was the 5th day from working 4 days in a row. I was so tired plus I was asked if I wanted to come in that morning. Good thing I didn't get the call because I was sleeping but my boss was so nice about it. Humm.... I really would love to go and Sheila is also dying to go. I hope she will find time from work to get away one weekend. That would be really nice.

To Krispy Kreme The Boys Went

We had a nice Sunday. It was also very beautiful outside. I worked Saturday night so I get to enjoy a sleep over. Ryan and Frankie both got up early so they let me sleep until noon. Ryan has wanted to get a dozen of Krispy Kreme donuts and so Frankie and him went. That was the first time that he ever took Frankie anywhere alone, although Frankie is already 18 months but Ryan has never gone anywhere without me. He always loves spending quality time with his family. Even if a little chitchat in the car is already spending quality time for him even if I would rather stay home sometimes. So after all these months that was the first time. I got up for a little bit to say goodbye and to see them leave. Frankie was so excited in the back of the van while waving goodbye at me. I was also happy to be off to the bedroom. Well the trip to Krispy Kreme had a sidetrack. Ryan said (when I got up for lunch) that Frankie was already hungry so they stopped by Mc Donalds to get him something to eat for breakfast.

Anyways, it was so lovely getting up with a couple of my favorite Krispy Kreme donuts and a cold starbucks coffee. It surely got me going for the rest of the day.

Shopping

Ryan took a half a personal day last Wednesday to go shopping. The place that I am working has finally opened for business and with that we have discounts after discounts. I wanted to go in to take advantage of the early bird specials. It wasn't really anything major but jewelries that I have been keeping an eye on for my sisters, mother-in-law Cheryl and mama. Unfortunately, I didn't get home until 4:00 a.m. that Tuesday because we made sure that all of the sale signs are correct so when Ryan got home from work, I just got up about 20 minutes ago checking my mail not ready yet. He kept telling me to hurry up but I assured him that the specials they have is nothing that we need. I was right. They even extended their specials until 3:00 p.m. because of the very long line of people that they have checking out. I finally got my sisters these beautiful necklaces for Christmas. Don't worry, they already know they are getting these. Before I send anything I always make sure to let both of them know so that they can pick which ones they want to have. So when they get it, they don't have to argue anymore. You'll be surprised on how much we paid for them. It was very cheap.

A dolphin pendant with a genuine blue topaz. I believed that is Resty's birthstone. She also likes dolphins. Right next to is a diamond accent 3 hearts for Ging-ging. I still need to get a pair of earrings for mama and I already saw one that I think would look nice on her. I didn't get it because I had to ask her if she wants another one after one of her old earrings was snatched in Cebu City. I told her that she can always wear it to church or family functions. There is this bracelet too that I would love my sister in law Cheryl to have. Don't you just want to be the girls in my family? hehehe

We also got a couple of complete twin bed set for Frankie and Papa since they will both have a twin size bed. I really want to get Frankie the baseball set but it was $5.00 more so we settled for this one. I told Ryan that it looks so for grown up and he said Frankie will eventually grow and will out grow the babyish sheet. The blue bed set will be for Frankie to match with the cover that he got from his Lola on his birthday and the black one for Papa. I just find Ryan hilarious because he didn't want to pay extra $5.00 but when I grabbed a plate set for Frankie that we thought was on sale but wasn't he was willing to pay it full price just for his son. Well we really didn't figure it out until we got home. We definitely saved $60.00 plus with the 30% off and my discount. We hope to go back there this Saturday to get some pillows and towels before our 30% off coupon expires. After this we will need to be careful because it can be very easy to charge. Besides we are only getting the ones we really need.

We later head to Bradley to shop for bread and stuff and had a nice lunch in our favorite place. I was so darn sleepy that I didn't realize that my top was backwards and my zipper was down. Ryan had to laugh.
