Perfect Christmas Present

I mentioned in my other blog that I was saving to buy my cousins backpacks for school. The backpacks in the Philippines are not that durable according to my aunt that is why they asked mama to tell me. I told mama to tell my cousins that as long as they promised to do good in school I will try to get them some. The last time I was at Target school supplies were already on clearance but still 30% off. When I went there yesterday to buy some dressy pants I checked if they still have some school supplies left. I was losing hope because it's been a while since school started but I was so happy when I saw that they were all in the back wall and already 75% off. So I bought 10 backpacks, 8 for my cousins, one white jansports perfect for the nursing student Ging-ging for only $7.00 plus and another backpack for me. The hello kitty backpacks and the fatigue were only 3.98 each. I also got Ging-ging a little purple cooler for her school for $2.00 plus and an ice pack for .48. When I came home and I showed it to Ryan he was ok about it (he paid for it momentarily because my paypal is zero). All he said was to send them right away in a small balikbayan box so that they will get it in time for Christmas and that is what I will do very soon. I can just imagine the smiles of my little cousins in San Fernando when they get these but most of all thanks Dada for being so generous.

So if you want to get these deals for Christmas head out to Target by the seasonal department and you'll find them there before they salvage them all out. With 10 backpacks I got and a cooler I was only able to pay $48.00.
