Visit Orlando For Less

It is that time of the year again when families will head out for some sun and fun at the beach or take an Orlando vacations with the whole family. One of my dreams is to be able to visit Disney with my entire family but that would be when Frankie is a little bigger. As a little kid, I was an avid fan of princesses and princes and characters like Mickey, Donald Duck, Pluto and more. I am sure it would be awesome to finally be able to meet them in person and I am sure Frankie would love that too. Ryan hasn’t been there also so this will be all our first time. Taking a vacation especially down in Florida can be very expensive if you don’t know where to find good deals. Orlandofunparks.com saves you the hassle of looking for the best deal because they have it all in one place. If it is Orlando that you are planning to spend your vacation with then you should check them out. You’ll be thankful you did.

Retired...

... our camera for now until I have it fixed in the Philippines and give it my brother. It is very old anyway and we got it on clearance about 6 years ago. Sheila had the same problem and she had it fixed in the Philippines and it only cost her $4.00. Something is wrong with its mechanism inside because the lens won't pop out anymore. You can hear it trying to come out but it won't work. I was able to take some more pictures at the party and that was the last one. I told Ryan about it and he told me that it was about time. We will be going to get another one later today. Nothing fancy as long as it is durable and does its purpose.

It is Papa's camera that we really want him to have a nice one because we have hocked him up with someone (make artists for Filipino weddings) and they are desperately in need of a Filipino photographer. Since he does that all the time in the Philippines for 20 years so we thought, why not? Ryan and I agreed that we need to get him a nice high mp SLR camera. On my very first pay check, I promise. I am so excited for him.

Spice Up Your Bathroom

Of all the rooms here in our house, I think the bathroom is the hardest to decorate. I don’t know why maybe because there is really nothing much you can do to add to it besides other accessories and bathroom fixtures. Unfortunately, I was wrong. I have visited a few of my friend’s bathroom and I am impressed with how they spiced up their bathroom with cute accessories and add ons. I don’t stay in the bathroom that much but I consider it to be the place where I can usually get that “alone time”. You take a shower in there, do other businesses there and most of all soak in the tub in there. I wonder if my friends got their ideas to decorate their bathrooms from Stylehive.com. I don’t doubt it because their members found a lot of cute stuff that you can add to beautify your bathroom.

What I really like is the mirror that member Greta found. It is not only cute but would be perfect to have in any bathroom and house. Another favorite that I have is the unique toothbrush holder that you can hang in your bathroom. It adds a very beautiful and clean look to your bathroom. So if you have any ideas in mind or like sharing what you have discovered over the internet then why not check out Stylehive.com to share your fashion sense to the rest of the world.

Tito Kenny's Birthday

We were all invited for Kenny's 47th birthday. Jenny was not able to make it because she has to work at the hospital. Kyle was also sick so Adam just stopped by really quickly to wish Kenny a happy birthday but also had to leave right away. We were there early because Sheila said that dinner was going to be around 5:30. When we got there nobody were there so Frankie and I went outside to play. Around 6:00 p.m. some of their neighbor kids started coming in. Frankie was so happy to see them and he kept following them around. Papa and I were just observing him. He went to every kid that was between 8-10 years old and say hi to all of them. They didn't say anything to him. Papa told me that Frankie is very friendly and I agreed. Later on another little girl around his age came with her grandma. We told Frankie to go to her instead and say hi. He ran to the little girl and waved at her and she waved at him back. They then started playing together.

Marcela and Frankie

When everything is ready for dinner. Frankie won't leave the kids alone. They placed all the chairs in the deck and he helped them move the chairs. He even got a spot with them. I was so amused watching him so nice and friendly to other kids. I gave him something to eat and drink and just left him there with them.

There were a lot of Filipinos there and it was so overwhelming to meet them. They are just too close to where we live but never came across each other. I am more happy for Papa because he met a lot of older Filipinos that are around his age who also just got here not too long ago. They are all very friendly too. The most awaited part of the party was the pinata. Kenny invited a lot of kids so he had one for the kids. Frankie was the first one to hit it because he was the youngest. He hesitated in the beginning but hit it really hard the third time.

It took a while until the pinata was opened. I didn't let him hit again and I was carrying him the entire time because I was afraid that he will run to the pinata and get hit by the blind folded kid. All the kids were so happy when it was finally opened and also Frankie.

On the third picture, he was so exhausted that took Tatay's microphone and started singing inside. Over all he surely did have a wonderful time. He went to sleep right away when we got home.

Golf

Golf is the one and only ball game which I think is so easy to play (if you are only watching) but definitely hard when you are playing it on a golf course. I am sure it is very expensive to hire someone to teach how to play golf correctly that is why some beginners would go for and buy golf training aids. Unfortunately, not all golf training aids are a like and the prices can vary as well. If only one can get a good golf training aid at a very affordable price, that would be a lot better. This is where Golftrainingaids.net can come in handy.

What the website does is they review golf training aids giving you valuable information about it. Not only that, consumers who have used the golf training aid are also welcome to review it as well and rate the effectivity of the training aid. The result will then be calculated complete with its prices. This will be a great help for you because you don’t have to keep on buying and trying different golf training aids and waste your money and time.

It Pays To Be Persistent

I was so disappointed when I came home from meeting with the academic advisor because I still need to take the compass test for Math. I was looking forward to not taking it and just need to concentrate on English and Reading which is what they gave me as a requirement. For those who doesn't know what a compass test is, it is for students who are entering college to measure their readiness for college. It wouldn't be that bad if I transferred right away after graduating high school but it has been 10 (ouch! graduated college 10 years ago already) of idle years in between plus I didn't graduate here in the US. When I was looking at my evaluation sheet, I found a loophole and I didn't want to sleep until I find the answers. The academic advisor missed the spot where I got credited for my College Algebra because he told me in the beginning that I need English then added that I need math as well because he didn't see anything that was credited under it. College Algebra was credited under elective since it wasn't offered under the math section that I need to take.

I called the next day and the receptionist told me that I can come in to ask again if I wanted to. It was Thursday afternoon and I don't have any way of getting there in time. Friday they are closed so I was so anxious to wait for Monday to go in. Thankfully my being persistent paid off. The academic advisors are fully booked but when I showed the guy my sheets he said I don't need to take Math because I have already been credited for a college level Algebra. I felt like jumping for joy. I don't have to worry about studying Trigo and other math subjects anymore. It surely pays to be persistent.

Open An Online Store

I have never met anyone who is very business minded than Ella. Since she got here in the US in 2005, she has been trying to do something that will make her a little money. She has tried cooking Filipino dishes for parties but she was having a hard time continuing it because of her lack of help. She has 3 kids and only two are in school so she is still has one to take care. This kind of business is also very challenging because she has to go shopping, cook the food and deliver them all by herself but of course with the youngest son in tow. All she really wanted is something she can make money while at home while watching her kids at the same time.

I will definitely suggest to her looking into buying wholesale products from the internet especially in liquidation.com and open up her online store and start from there. It is so much better because it is so easy to monitor and she can also use paypal as a mode of payment. All she needs is to start checking liquidation.com and she will be on her way of having her own business right from home.

Lots And Lots of Goodies

Papa was supposed to work at Jenny's house today because he didn't have enough sleep last night. He said he's head was really hurting . He knows where everything is around the house but it was so painful he said that it kept him up until dawn. I got home around 11:30 p.m. and he was no longer in the kitchen watching TV Patrol. I know he was already in his room that I assume he was asleep. When Frankie and I got up around 8:30 a.m. I thought he was gone. Jenny normally picks him up around 7:30 a.m. but she was a little sick too that she was not able to call really early. So when we got out he was in the kitchen reading the paper. I called Jenny and told her that Papa can't make it today because he is extremely tired and didn't have enough sleep. She was very understanding and I am so glad for that.

I was out to do some projects again today. When I came home Ryan told me that Jenny called and she asked him to tell me to to call her back. So I did but nobody answered. We had dinner and she called again and I talked to her. She asked me if she can stop by because she have lots of clothes and shoes to give to Papa and Frankie. For Papa which is from her husband Adam who is about the same height with Papa and a little clothes from Kyle for Frankie. Kyle is a year older than Frankie but taller. Kyle's clothes fits Frankie perfectly because he is tall and also skinny. She also told me that she is not done sorting Kyle's clothes. I am so thankful because I don't have to worry about Frankie's fall and winter clothes as well as Papa. Papa was so funny because he doesn't even know where to put the winter clothes because there must be 30 tops for him. Ryan is also thankful.

All It Takes Is Self Control

I admit I don’t have the self control when it comes to eating. Every single day, I normally don’t eat breakfast which I know is not good but I eat 3 meals worth during lunch because I am already starving from the morning. I just don't feel like eating very early in the morning. It is also during lunch when Papa makes a yummy meal so it is so hard to say no. Why is it so hard to lose weight and so easy to gain it? I kept asking myself that over and over again. I even stopped weighing myself now because it seems like nothing is getting better. All I really need is self control, self discipline and maybe one of the best weight loss pills such as the Clinicallix to help me back on track. If I can only lose at least 20 lbs. before our second wedding, I will be very happy.

Oh My, I Hit A Deer

Well the good thing is it is alive but Ryan's car which I used last night was dented and the grills on the left side fell off. It was only Janet and I who worked last night. It was only a take down so we were only there for 3 hours. The store is open until 11 p.m. in preparation for the 4th of July so there were still a lot of associates in the parking lot talking when Janet and I took off. I drove off before her and she was following after me. When all of the sudden out of the blue, a young deer came out of nowhere and went in front of me that I didn't have enough time to hit the break. I hit it and flew out in the air. I was going 30 mph so the impact wasn't that bad. I thought I killed it but it got up and ran away.

Janet drove right next to me to check how I was. I was in shocked and I am glad I didn't kill the thing. That's the first time I have seen a deer over by Kohl's since it has been developed and a little far from where the forest preserves are. I tried calling Ryan but he forgot to keep the phone in our room. I thought he will be mad but he said he is just glad that I am ok. He went out to check the damage and he told me we just have to live with it and see how much we are going to spend if we have it fixed. It was definitely scary and I hope it won't happen again to any of my co-workers. I think it was on it's way to 394 and got scared of the cars that it came back and that is how I hit it. I am safe and the air bags didn't go off which is good.

Modeling The Hats

Papa, Frankie and I went to Target last Friday to get Ryan a father's day gift. After getting him a calendar with a picture of both of them together, we decided to walk around and also get Papa a pair of shorts. He got a gift card for having a new prescription at Target and he wanted it to use it. So while Papa was in the Men's department, Frankie and I were so busy playing with the hats. It so happened that I had the camera with me since I needed a picture of Ryan and Frankie together so I was able to get take some pictures. The first hat I placed on his head he didn't want to take it off. He was having a good time with it. When I grabbed the first one, he pointed for the next one and placed it on his head. We were being silly and was giggling while switching the hats. Just look at Frankie below.

Treatments That May Save Your Life

When I realized how harmful Mesothelioma is, I am stunned. I felt sorry for those who have to experience it and their family. Mesothelioma is a form of cancer as a result of being exposed to asbestos. That is why Ryan and I have always been careful with the renovation of our house because we believed our tiles have asbestos in them. Our house was built in the 1940’s and that is around that time that the use of asbestos for homes was present.

How do you treat Mesothelioma? It used to be the question that has been going around for quite sometime but thankfully with the advancement of science Mesothelioma treatment has shown improvement for the past few years. Although there is no cure discovered yet for Mesothelioma but there are options that one can choose such as surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy and a lot more. If you know someone who had been suffering from Mesothelioma, you might as well tell them to check out Mesotheliomahelp.net and see the options that fit them.

Telephone Line Drama - Thank God For Papa

Thursday afternoon Papa was doing his nightly routine. He was watching TV Patrol and other Filipino shows in the kitchen and went to bed right after. Early morning I got up around 9:00 a.m. because Ryan promised me that he will email me something important to what I am supposed to be doing that day. I was still able to access the internet, we still have the dial tone. I then ate breakfast, took a shower and I remember that I need to call my academic advisor to ask him about something when I picked up the phone, there was no dial tone. I thought it was weird and immediately assume that it was AT&T's fault. I didn't bother to trace what was the problem as I had so much projects that are waiting for me. I told Papa that he might not be able to access the wireless internet through my laptop because the phone line is down.

When I got home, I though the problem has been fixed. He told me that the phone in the kitchen has a dial tone but not the one in the second bedroom. Since we all need to go to Target to get something, I figure to wait for Ryan till he gets home so that he can figure it out. We were out for almost 4 hours going to different places and when we got home Ryan didn't know what happened and he transferred the DSL thingy in the kitchen and hocked it in my laptop. He had so much to report that night and he didn't have the time to check where the problem was. Like I did, he tried to unplug and plug everything back because we thought it was just some lose ends but it wasn't. While reporting in the kitchen, Papa was so busy trying to figure out what happened. He took the phone that we have in the kitchen because it doesn't have to be plugged and he went outside the house to check the phone lines. Then he found the problem (mind you it was around 8:30 p.m. and so many mosquitoes outside). The phone line that was going to the bedroom is not working while the phone line that was going to the living room does work. So to give us a temporarily relief he connected the phone line that was not working to the one that is working. Unfortunately, we will not have a phone line in the living room just yet because he rerouted it but he can always put it back when we are ready to put a phone there soon. It was a big relief for me because I had so much to write and Ryan was all over my computer. Papa told me that he used to find the problem and fix the phone lines when he was in the Philippines both in his work and at home so there is no way he will not be able to find the problem here in our house. I am so glad for his help or else we will have to get help somewhere and may have to spend so much because Ryan and I can't find the problem. Thank God for Papa!

Acnecuresrevealed.net Is Your Acne Solution

I have been battling with acne for as long as I can remember. It wasn’t that bad really because my siblings are also experiencing the same thing except our youngest one Ging-ging but there were times when it surely deterred my confidence. It even came to a point where I don’t want to be in front of people anymore because I was afraid that they are not looking and listening to what I have to say but to my face and my acne. I really thought it will get better when I started teaching but the more it got worst because of stress and not getting enough sleep. I don’t even know how many acne treatments I have already used or taken until I completely got tired of it and didn’t care anymore. Had I known about the top 5 best acne treatment from Acnecuresrevealed.net, I could have gotten the one that work based from the different criteria they had.

A Sad Moment

Ryan emailed me yesterday and asked me if I wanted to go to Renee's visitation in Kankakee. Ryan and I used to work with her when we still worked at Target. She was alright but she means business. She is one tough woman and she like things to get done. Not a lot of people like her but if you try to think of it, she is just doing her job. There were a lot of people when we got there. We couldn't even find a parking spot that we have to park at a nearby bank. I saw a lot of Target peps there. Some that still works there and some like us who left target and came to visit when they heard about what happened to Renee.

It was definitely nice to see everybody although not in a right place. Ryan and I went to see her and to offer our condolence to her husband. I just couldn't believe how everything happened so fast. They thought it was a food allergy but it wasn't. She was throwing up the day before and the next day she died. As what her mother said, she got a virus that went straight to her heart. They didn't even know where she got it from which Ryan and I find so sad. She has two little girls 5 and 2 years old that she left behind. Definitely a sad moment.

On a lighter note, the Target peps are now organizing a get together party after seeing each other at the visitation. I can't wait to see them again.

Appetite Suppresant For Papa's Cooking

Those up there are just a few foods that were served during Kenny’s birthday. Papa actually cooked all of them in the picture. He made sweet and sour fish, Menudo and Beef Steak. Thankfully they all liked it Filipino and Americans a like. Papa can practically cook almost anything that I missed. Right now he is making “Nilagang Baboy” that I requested. It might not sound so inviting but it is really delicious. I felt like getting an appetite suppressant though because if I eat something yummy that he cooked, I don’t settle down being full because I can’t stop eating. I stuff myself until I can’t move. It is not a good thing because I know if I won’t do anything about it I can blow up like a balloon. Fortunately, it is so easy to find appetite suppressant by visiting Appetitesuppressants.net.

Missing Them

Gadi staring at Ate Giging.

One thing I notice every time I show the pictures of Dan-dan and Gadi is how big the giggle of Papa is. It is actually very cute to look at. I know he felt the same way when he was away from Frankie and I know how much he has missed them. Whenever they talk over skype, I can tell his longing for them. Frankie and Dan-dan talks over the internet all the time and he sometimes sits there and listens to them, amazed. I don't blame him though because even if I have been here for almost 7 years, half of my heart is still in the Philippines.

I wonder what they were laughing about?
